São Paulo International Auto Show: Photo Coverage

Köenigsegg CCXR

Since I go to this event since 1996, I couldn’t miss this year’s. So I packed my Nikon D90, a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, a Nikon 35mm f/1.8 lens and a Nikon SB-400 flash, and went for it. It was better than the previous edition (2008), with more interesting cars and better organization.

The first thing I noticed that was different from the previous years was the massive amount of Chinese car manufacturers presenting their models. And I wasn’t impressed. In fact, they look rubbish, so I didn’t even bother taking any photos.

On the good side, plenty of great cars, like the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport,Ferrari 458 ItaliaPagani Zonda RKöenigsegg CCXRSpyker C8 Aileron and the Porsche GT2 RS.

Also, some interesting concepts, like the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Break and the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics.
