Evernote is the ultimate digital notepad. You can create any type of note, from simple plain-text to image snapshots with embedded text. Then you can organize all your notes into notebooks and search them whenever you want.
But what makes it really great is the synchronization with its iPhone app. You can make notes on the run, photograph a whiteboard or a price tag and it gets synchronized wirelessly to your Evernote app in your Mac, with a quota of 40 MB/month. I love the wonders of Cloud Computing… 🙂

I don’t use notebooks anymore, just Evernote. It’s way more practical and I can copy and paste notes to whatever other program I want. Plus, the Premium version ($45 per year subscription) allows 500MB/month of traffic, attachment of any file type to the notes (Word documents, Excel Spreadsheets, PDF documents, etc), collaboration tools (so other users can access and modify notes) and SSL encryption.
