I took this photo today during my afternoon tea. I was asked by many people if it was taken using my Nikon D90 with a 35mm f/1.8 lens. People were stunned to find out that it was actually taken using the iPhone 4 camera and processed by a preset filter in a free app (Instagram).
I wanted to write this short post to tell 2 things:
- The iPhone 4 camera is very good for a mobile phone camera. That is, when the light conditions are okay. In darkness, it’s as crap as any other phone camera.
- As all the great photographers I know usually say: “the best camera is the one with you”. It’s always better to take the shot with anything than miss it just because you aren’t carrying your multi-thousand dollar camera.
