IBM Advance Toolchain for PowerLinux 5.0-1 released

A bug fix update of the IBM Advance Toolchain for PowerLinux 5.0 is released. In addition to the features presented in 5.0-0, this release features:

  • GCC fix for -flto -fwhole-program -fuse-linker-plugin linker error.
  • GCC fix: apply force_reg to addr.
  • GCC fix: correctly set BV_LOST_PRIMARY.
  • GLIBC: several performance optimizations for POWER CPUs.
  • GLIBC fix: check for finite/infinity parms in IBM Long Double 128 fmal ().
  • GLIBC fix for profiling on powerpc32 secure-plt shared libs and PIEs.
  • Valgrind with enhanced support for POWER7 instructions (all except DFP).
