A bug fix update of the IBM Advance Toolchain for PowerLinux 5.0 is released. In addition to the features presented in 5.0-1, the Advance Toolchain for PowerLinux 5.0-2 features:
- New optimizations for Power Architecture in glibc: strcasecmp, strncasecmp, nearbyint, nearbyintf, plus arithmetic functions and libm wrappers.
- Performance fixes for regressions in SPEC CPU benchmarks sphinx3 and 168.wupwise
- Several bug fixes for glibc and libdfp.
