Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir at Central Park – Nikon D90, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8

One from an afternoon walk at Central Park, in New York. I was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and since the sky was clearing (it had rained in the morning), I decided to go to the reservoir and see how it was. For my surprise, the clouds were moving rapidly in the sky, creating an interesting patterns to be captured with an ultra-wide angle lens. The late afternoon sunlight was perfect, coloring the buildings on the Upper East Side with a nice orange tone. I used a half-80 color filter to enhance the blue tones in the water and that’s it.
