Rockwood Hall Park – Nikon D90, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8
This was also taken during the same trip as the previous image at Rockwood Hall Park, near Tarrytown, NY. It’s the estate grounds of the former Rockwood Hall, an extension to the Rockefeller State Park Preserve. This photo shows the Hudson river valley north of New York at dawn. I used the ultra-wide angle lens to get a good panorama of the river and used the trees around to frame the picture with their silhouette. This one has minimal editing as well. I faked 2 half-color filters in Photoshop (half-81 and half-80) to get the right color balance.
